This website was started to support musicians in finding a larger audience and to let people in Sheffield know what’s happening in folk and traditional music.
I’ve had so many wonderful experiences at folk events in Sheffield, since I first came to Sheffield as a student over 30 years ago and I want to make sure other people can find out about some of the fantastic events.
I have more experience of the English and Celtic music scene and would be particularly keen to hear about and share events from other traditions. Please get in touch if you have any events to share, see any mistakes in the listings or if you would like to volunteer to help run this service.
